Join us as an Ad Tech Manager

  • We’re looking for a creative and influential person to join Mettle's marketing team.
  • This is an opportunity to support Mettle’s advertising technology strategy, with a focus on ensuring a consistent and accurate technical set-up across Mettle’s ad-tech stack.
  • As you develop close, effective working relationships across Mettle, you’ll contribute to shaping the operations and best practices.

What you'll do

In this key role, you’ll be supporting Mettle’s in-house marketing team by being the technical point of contact for attribution/tracking, ad platforms, and integrations with Mettle’s data infrastructure. 

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Implementing tracking best practice process and maintaining Mettle’s tracking capabilities (attribution, web analytics, and enabling the performance reporting infrastructure)
  • Managing business-as-usual (BAU) operations for existing ad-tech (Google Marketing Platform, ad verification, customer data platform (CDP) audience creation, and tag management)
  • Leading platform onboarding of ad-tech platforms (creative automation platforms/social activation platforms etc)

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with experience of working in a digital advertising ecosystem, including working with attribution providers, tag management solutions, ad servers and analytics tools. You'll be working closely with activation teams to improve their capabilities through digital ad-tech and improve best practice processes for data capture for our performance infrastructure.

You’ll also need:

  • Hands-on experience with key ad-tech and analytic platform types (web analytics, ad-servers, tag management solutions)
  • Working knowledge of attribution (models, tools, limitations)
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritise and organise workload.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
